Reporting software helps you when you’re writing your inspection report. We’re not reporting software. We are inspection software. Inspection software helps to make you faster and more accurate during the entire inspection process from set-up through delivering the report.
InspectionWise is a computer tool that goes with you on a palmtop computer while you are performing the inspection. You perform your home inspections just like you’ve always done. But instead of taking notes on a notepad, you choose findings from a nearly unlimited list of standard findings (all customized to your preferences of course!) Then all your findings are inserted into your inspection report.

InspectionWise is a company with a unique offering. We are a high-service organism
in the midst of a low-service industry. We believe that humans have an innate
value so we treat them with honor. That means you, our customers, our employees,
our vendors, and our shareholders.

Our story so far (as told by Bob)
InspectionWise began in 2000 as a convergence happened. Palmtops became a solid
computing platform. At the same time I had several friends who were home inspectors
in the Dallas area. I saw how time with their families was being stolen as they
had to re-do every inspection in the evenings at their offices. I knew “There
has got to be a better way!” So I made one.
I asked a ton of questions. I followed them while they did actual inspections. I took pages of notes. I did mounds of research. And I designed a way for them to use a palmtop computer to recover huge amounts of time while actually improving their consistency, accuracy and communication with their customers! It was a win for everyone.
We debuted InspectionWise at the January, 2003 TAREI seminar in Houston. A few customers signed on right away and the number has steadily increased as our company pressed on, continually working to be better. We distinguished ourselves by our focus on serving you. We never tried to be a hit-and-run business. We work very hard to establish a personal relationship with our customers – most of whom have my personal mobile phone number and great me warmly when I call them. We are proactive, calling our customers to ask, “How are you doing? How can we help you with technical issues or simply giving you some tips to use IW more effectively? What can we do better? What new features or services would you most like to see us include?”
We take every suggestion we get seriously. Every single improvement we’ve made since the beginning of time has been at the request of one or more of our customers – every one! And we’re hungry for more.
